Robotics Engineer Program (5 Levels)
The main goal of the program is to develop our kids to be creative, systematic thinkers and able to solve problems by hands-on activities that are varied and fun and challenging for the students in the real life.
The program consists of 5 levels, each level period is 6 weeks (1 lesson per week).
Students will be introduced to the world of robotics and its three main branches of programming, mechanical and electrical parts. The course includes a set of hands on activities such as, building and programming the mBot Educational robot along with a set of different add-ons.
Students will learn the basics of robotics programming via a set of guided levels, then use their acquired knowledge to develop complete programs such as an intelligent desk light where a light is controlled using touch and sound sensors.
Students will be introduced to the inventor kit: a robotics toolkit that teaches the students the basic principles of using sensors as well as the logic required to develop programs that can operate real life projects.
students will assemble and program a variety of projects such as a distance measuring device, furthermore students will program the same device to calculate and display the area of a square upon taking a single measurement.
Upon being introduced to the inventor kit and its first set of simple experiments in level 2, students will progress further to do more complex experiments which requires the use of advanced equipment such as the Bluetooth module and controlling the experiments via a mobile application.
Students will be introduced to the Ranger a relevantly more complex robot along with its three different transformations, and a wider range of mechanical and electrical parts.
Transformable into nine(9) different models along with the ability to further mix and match its parts, MakeBlock’s Ultimate (2.0) provides the perfect robotics experience, it allows students to assemble and program a set of complex robotic models such as the robotics arm tank that can pickup and transfer objects within a given space.
